We’ve Been Reaccredited — Again.
Her Medical has just completed our three-yearly AGPAL reaccreditation. No fanfare, no champagne. Just another reminder that we run a tight ship.
For context: AGPAL (Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited) checks that general practices are meeting the RACGP’s national standards — the baseline for quality and safety in Australian healthcare.
Reaccreditation is mandatory if you want to operate at a certain standard. We don’t treat it like a trophy — we treat it like routine maintenance.
What gets checked?
Pretty much everything that matters behind the scenes:
– Infection control
– Emergency procedures
– Staff training
– Privacy and data handling
– Equipment and vaccine storage
– Clinical governance
We passed — as expected.
Why share this?
Because transparency matters. We want our patients to know that what happens behind the consultation room door is backed by proper systems, not guesswork. Reaccreditation doesn’t change how we operate — it confirms it.
