General Practitioners
Born in Melbourne and raised in Queensland, Dr Christine Greenwood graduated from Bond University Medical School in 2012. Before choosing general practice, she worked in hospitals across Queensland and the Northern Territory in paediatrics, orthopaedics, emergency, Indigenous health, palliative care, general medicine and surgery — including time in remote communities such as Groote Eylandt and Nhulunbuy.
Christine chose general practice for its continuity of care and the opportunity to work with individuals and families across every stage of life. She has a particular focus on women’s health, perimenopause and menopause management, and understands the physical, mental and relational changes that can occur during this stage.
Her consultations may include discussion of hormonal and non-hormonal therapies, as well as lifestyle and nutritional strategies tailored to each patient’s needs. Christine has completed further study in diet and nutrition, including a Professional Diploma in Medical Nutrition, and she provides evidence-based guidance in metabolic and weight management.
