NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TO NEW PATIENTS

It’s essential for healthcare providers to prioritise the well-being and care of their current patients. By temporarily limiting new patient intake for Pippa and Kellie, they can focus on providing the best possible care to their existing patients.

We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed about when Pippa and Kellie will be able to accommodate new patients again.

Dr. Pippa Wood creates a warm, non-judgmental space where individual’s feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and feelings. She aims to challenge your way of thinking with compassion to help you navigate life’s inevitable challenges.

Pippa will work collaboratively with you to understand and address challenging belief systems and behaviours that may be negatively impacting on your life, implementing pragmatic evidence-based techniques and psychoeducation. As a positive psychologist, Pippa’s goal is not only to help individuals function, but flourish.

Pippa graduated from City University, London in 2013 and qualified as a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society in the UK after completing her doctorate degree in Psychology from Leeds Carnegie. She lectured for four years and worked closely with women across health, corporate and sport settings to develop resilience and improve their psychological well-being. As Pippa has recently immigrated to Australia, she must complete a period of practice under provisional status in preparation for full registration in Australia.

Her practice is informed by the latest research, attachment frameworks, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), CBT (cognitive-behavioural therapy), and DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy). With a background in health and sports psychology, Dr. Wood also has extensive experience with disordered eating, body image issues, self-worth, and anxiety.
