Ongoing care throughout pregnancy will depend on whether the patient wishes to deliver at one of the private hospitals or the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Private obstetric care allows the choice of an obstetrician who will look after all of your antenatal care, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. Her Medical has excellent relationships with leading private obstetricians at private hospitals on the Gold Coast. For ongoing care, Her Medical will refer patients to their choice of obstetrician after initial investigations.
Antenatal care through the Gold Coast University Hospital is ‘shared’ with the hospital and will usually be seen at around 20 weeks, 36 weeks, and again around the due date.
